Background

The President along with PP Shakun and Dir Projects visited H. Chooromoney Govt School (HCGS) on Monday 15 th July to see the requirements of the school and its students. We learned that the school had 274 students of which 100 students came from economically or emotionally challenged homes or both. Among these 100 students, 7 students were in SEN (Special Education Needs) Unit at the school. These 7 students had different mental and/or physical disabilities.

Objective

The SEN unit of the school had some requirements which were detailed to us during our visit. We aimed to raise some funds to fulfil the needs of the SEN unit of the school.

After this initial donation phase, we will be sending a questionnaire to the management of the school of better understand the needs of the students and then have a holistic approach towards support of such needs.
